2015 Chardonnay – WOW FACTOR

New Release 95 points – James Halliday From a single block of Mendoza clone, whole bunch-pressed wild ferment initiated, cultured yeast added, transferred to French oak (30% new) for completion of fermentation and 10 months maturation on lees. The wine has the urgency and energy that is a hallmark of the Seville district, and makes the chardonnays often rise to the top in wine tastings and shows. It’s certainly here, but the wine also has the length of the greater Yarra region. Beautifully orchestrated by Franco D’Anna. 13% alc. SHOP NOW
