93 Points – Gary Walsh – The Winefront.
Smooth and stylish Yarra claret. Blackcurrant, redcurrant, black olive, aniseed and gum leaf perfume, oak lends gentle spice and some vanilla nougat, but stays well in the background. Medium bodied, silky feel with light fine grained tannin, crisp but well bedded acidity, and a cool long finish, laced with tobacco and olives. Really good. Very at ease with itself. Fluid fluid, as it were.

94 Points – James Halliday Good colour; an immediately attractive, juicy style redolent of cassis on the bouquet and palate alike, given even more flesh by well handled French oak, tannins doing nothing to spoil the party.
